It generally takes 5-7 business days for our packages to reach your doorstep. This gives us time to process, review, and customize your order to guarantee our products work with your local cell phone providers. If you just placed an order please give us 24 hours to process your order and send you a receipt with shipping confirmation.
We guarantee our physical products for exactly one year after purchase. We understand that things can go wrong, so if they do please let us know and we’ll send you a package to return your Magellan Alert equipment to us and we can either offer you a complete refund or exchange. Your choice.
Short answer: No. Long answer? It depends… While we’re not tracking your usage in real-time there are instances that you may need us to pull location data and (with your permission) we’re able to retrieve usage information. This information may be used in conjunction with law enforcement to accomplish any goals you expressly give us. Without your permission it’s impossible for us to track your GPS locations… But, we are tracking any usage on MagellanAlert.com, no different than you might have with Facebook or YouTube.
Incredibly secure. All of our data is 256 bit encrypted (bank level) and stored on servers managed by Google Inc. We do not store ANY sensitive customer data on physical drives so you’ll never have to worry about us losing a device and all of our employees are working on the world’s most secure operating system (a type of Linux).
Let’s say you can’t afford Magellan Alert or you’re simply not happy with our service. All you have to do is log into your account and click “Cancel My Service” or contact us using the form on this page and we’ll close your account ASAP. If you’ve been billed and you simply forgot about cancelling we’ll issue you a refund and cancel your service.
